Investigations & Treatments

The clinic performs the following eye examinations

  • General eye examination
  • Diabetic retinopathy screening with photo documentation.
  • Glaucoma screening with photo, perimetry (visual field test).
  • AMD (age-related macular degeneration) assessment; patients are referred to Glostrup Hospital for surgical treatment if required.
  • Cataract screening
  • Driver’s license medical certificate
  • OCT: 3D imaging of the eye

The clinic offers the following treatments

  • Laser treatment for prevention of acute glaucoma (YAG iridotomy)
  • Laser treatment for secondary cataract (YAG capsulotomy)
  • Lacrimal duct probing and flushing

Please Note

We do not perform general eye-glass or contact lens prescriptions for adults, as this is handled by opticians.
